# Assign organizations

Manager can assign organizations along with their contacts to territories.

TIP

Only assigned users have access to organization and contacts of the specific territory.

Go to References > Territories in the navigation menu. Click the territory name to open it.

As illustrated below, Platforce is a parent territory with two child territories: User #1 and User #2. Click any child territory name to view the list of organizations and contacts assigned to it.

In the Organizations widget, you can assign more organizations to the opened territory. To do this:

  1. Unfold the actions menu.

  2. Select Assign to assign an existing organization or Create to create a new organization for this territory.

# Unassign

You can also remove organizations from the territories, if needed. To do this:

  1. Select the required territory.

  2. On the Organizations tab, select the organization to remove from the territory.

  3. Unfold the actions menu and click Unassign.

TIP

When assigning, reassigning, or unassigning organizations for a certain territory, you do the same for the contacts that belong to these organizations.
